Getting Started with Salesmotion

What is Salesmotion?

Salesmotion is an AI-powered account intelligence platform that monitors 1,000+ data sources to deliver real-time insights about your target accounts. It helps sales teams spend less time researching and more time selling.

Step 1: Log in to your account

Navigate to app.salesmotion.io and sign in with the email and password provided by your admin. You'll land on the Dashboard with an overview of your tracked accounts.

Step 2: Add accounts to track

  1. Click Accounts in the left sidebar.
  2. Use the Search bar to find a company by name.
  3. Click Add Account to start tracking it.

Salesmotion will immediately begin gathering intelligence — including financial signals, leadership changes, technology stack updates, and relevant news.

Step 3: Explore account intelligence

Click on any account to see its detail page. Key tabs include:

  • Fast Facts — Company overview, revenue, headcount, and industry.
  • Summary — AI-generated briefing with key insights, opportunities, and talking points.
  • Signals — Real-time events like earnings reports, funding rounds, and executive moves.
  • Contacts — Key people at the account with titles and LinkedIn profiles.
  • Tech — The company's technology stack.

Step 4: Set up alerts

Go to Alerts in the left sidebar to configure notifications. You can receive alerts for:

  • New signals on tracked accounts
  • Leadership changes
  • Earnings reports
  • Technology changes

Step 5: Connect your CRM

If your team uses Salesforce, navigate to Settings → Integrations to connect your CRM. This enables two-way sync so account intelligence appears directly in Salesforce.
